Orion Data Systems

Our place is tucked away on Rupchand Mukherjee Lane. It’s number 1/16, which isn't always easy to find if you aren't looking closely at the doors. It’s a quiet little lane compared to the main roads. We deal with data systems, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at screens and sorting through files. It’s not the most exciting work to describe to people at a party, but it keeps the lights on. The office is small, just enough room for the desks and all the cables. Cables are everywhere, honestly. We try to keep them organized with zip ties, but they always seem to find a way to tangle up again. It’s just how it goes with this kind of gear. There isn’t a huge team here, just a few people who know their way around a computer. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for things to process. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow in this part of town, which can be a real headache when we have a deadline. But we’ve lived in this neighborhood long enough to know how to work around those little issues. We don’t do a lot of talking about innovation or anything like that. We just show up, do the data entry or the system checks, and head home. It’s a regular job in a regular part of the city. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on moving.
