Our office is on the ground floor at North 39/A/25 on Prince Golam Mohammed Shah Road. Being on the ground floor is convenient because we don’t have to deal with elevators or long flights of stairs. Kolkata can be a very busy place, and our street is no exception. There is always something happening outside. Inside the office, things are a bit more relaxed. We have a row of desks and some storage space for our files and equipment. It’s a pretty standard workspace. We aren't interested in having the most modern office in the city. We just need it to be functional. We spend a lot of time talking through projects and figuring out the best way to handle different situations. Sometimes we have a lot of papers scattered around when we are in the middle of something big. It’s just us working together to get things finished. We don't have a dress code or anything formal like that. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable for the weather. The heat in West Bengal can get pretty intense, so we keep the fans on high. We take our breaks when we can and usually find someone selling tea nearby. It’s a local business through and through. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to do a good job for the people who hire us. It keeps us busy.
