We are located at 397A, Jodhpur Park, which is a really nice, leafy part of South Kolkata. Oaktree Connect India Private Limited is situated in a spot that feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. There are trees along the road and people walking their dogs, which makes coming to work a lot more pleasant. The office itself is pretty straightforward. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or high-tech gadgets everywhere. It’s mostly just us, our laptops, and a few printers that sometimes give us trouble. We do a lot of our work over the phone or on the internet, so the quiet atmosphere of Jodhpur Park really suits us. We aren't the type of company that has big board meetings or expensive lunches. We usually just grab something from the local shops nearby. Our team is small, and we’ve all been doing this long enough that we don't need much supervision. We just know what our tasks are and we get them done. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes it hard to get to the office, but we just manage. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We aren't trying to be the next big thing, we just want to be a reliable place where work gets done correctly. Being in such a calm part of town helps us stay focused on that without getting distracted by the city rush.
