We are Nyquist Infosys Vision India Software Exports Pvt Ltd. We know the name is quite a mouthful for most people. We are based at 27 Kabi Nabin Sen Road in Kolkata. This part of West Bengal has its own busy character. The building we are in is an older one. It has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow and the walls could use some paint. We’ve been working out of this space for quite a long time now. It’s not a high-tech office park or a shiny new building with glass walls. It’s just a regular place on a normal street. We have our desks set up and we do our software work day in and day out. Sometimes the street outside gets really noisy with the traffic and the local market sounds, but we’ve gotten used to that over the years. It’s just part of life here in Kolkata. We don’t have a big HR department or fancy lunchrooms with free snacks. We usually just eat at our desks or go out to a local shop. The team here is small and we all know each other well. We started this because we wanted to do our own thing in the software world. It’s a lot of work, and some days are harder than others. We don’t use much marketing talk because that’s not who we are. We just focus on the code.
