Our place is over in the Bangur quarters in the Kanaipur area of Hooghly. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the big cities, which suits us just fine. Nisc Convergent Technology sounds like a big fancy name but we are really just a small group of people working with computers and tech stuff. We spend a lot of time at our desks dealing with data and systems. The office is pretty basic with just the usual desks and chairs and a lot of wires running along the walls. Hooghly can get quite humid so the fans are always on. We don’t have a big reception desk or people in suits walking around. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable and get on with the work that needs doing. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to wait for the local provider to fix it. We handle a variety of tech tasks that come our way. It’s not a flashy environment. We mostly just focus on finishing our projects so we can head home. People in the neighborhood know we are here but we don't really bother anyone. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to keep things moving. We’ve been here for a while and we know the local tea stall very well by now. It’s just a normal job for us and we like the pace here.
