We've been at Nilhat House on the 7th floor for a while now. Running Bhagatpur Tea Company Ltd takes up most of our days. It's busy here on RN Mukherjee Road. People usually come by looking for specific tea batches. We deal with the paperwork and the distribution right from this office. It’s not a fancy shopfront, just a functional space where we get the work done. The elevator sometimes takes forever, but the view of the street below is okay. We handle a lot of logistics. Most of the time, the phones are ringing about shipments or stock levels. It gets a bit loud with the city traffic outside, but you get used to it. We aren't really into big advertisements. People who know us just find their way up here. We keep records of everything, and there’s always tea sitting around, obviously. Sometimes the office gets cluttered with samples. It’s just how we operate. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. Staying on the 7th floor keeps us a bit away from the street noise, which is nice when we need to focus. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the tea moves where it needs to go. It’s basic, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. That's pretty much us. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the estates. Sometimes the weather affects things and we have to adjust.
