Nexuss Computers

We are Nexuss Computers, located over at Armenian Street near the Calcutta GPO. Our shop is on the third floor of building 26/4. Being near the GPO means it’s always crowded and noisy outside, but that’s just how Calcutta is. We’ve been in this building for years. You have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to us. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though the elevator can be a bit temperamental sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of components and workbenches. We do a lot of hardware repair and assembly. It’s not the kind of place you come for a glossy shopping experience. We’re more of a hands-on workshop. Most people find us because they need something fixed and don't want to pay the high prices at the big malls. We know the machines inside and out. Armenian Street is a historic spot, and we like being part of the local fabric here. We see all kinds of people, from students to business owners. Sometimes we’re working on a very old desktop, and the next hour it’s a brand-new gaming rig. We don’t mind. It keeps the day interesting. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on people telling their friends about us. If we do a good job, they come back. That’s the simplest way to run a business in this city. The light in the stairwell is usually a bit dim, but once you get inside our shop, it's bright enough to see the tiny screws.
