New Fast Express Courier Cargo

You can find New Fast Express Courier Cargo down in the basement of the Shantiniketan Building on Camac Street. Specifically, we are in Basement-27 at number 8. Working in a basement means we don’t get any sunlight, but it keeps us away from the noise of Camac Street a little bit. The space is mostly filled with cardboard boxes of all sizes and rolls of brown packing tape. There is almost always the sound of tape being pulled off a roll somewhere in the background. We spend the day weighing parcels, writing out labels by hand, and stacking things up for the loaders. It’s a lot of physical work, moving crates and making sure everything is logged in the books. Sometimes the air gets a bit stuffy down here, so we keep a couple of fans running all day long. People come down the stairs with all sorts of things they need to send out, and we help them get it boxed up if it’s not ready. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t have fancy chairs or a lobby. It’s just a place where things come in and things go out. Sometimes we lose track of the time because we can’t see the sky, but there is always a lot to do to keep us busy. It’s just a simple courier operation in a busy part of the city. We have been in this basement for quite a while now.
