Our office for Nessocietsoftware And System Pvt Ltd is located in Boalia Kandarpapur, which is right by the Boalia Rickshawstand in the Garia area of Kolkata. Most people just tell the rickshaw drivers to drop them off at the stand and then it’s a short walk from there. We’ve been working on software and various systems out of this spot for some time. It's a regular neighborhood, so it doesn't feel like those big tech parks you see in other parts of the city. We have our computers set up and we spend most of the day troubleshooting or writing code. The local post office is at Garia, and that's where all our mail goes. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with the rickshaws and people buying vegetables, but it makes the place feel alive. We are a small team and we mostly keep to ourselves, working on whatever projects come our way. Being near the rickshaw stand is actually quite handy for getting home after a long day or grabbing a quick snack. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we get the work done. We like being based in this part of Kolkata because it’s where we grew up or where we live now. It’s simple, it’s quiet enough to think when the fans are whirring, and we don’t have to deal with the madness of the main city center every day.
