Neptune Plastic And Metal Industries is up on the 7th floor of 18 R. N. Mukherjee Road. It’s an old building in a part of the city that’s always crowded with people and cars. Working from the 7th floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are looking at files and samples of plastic parts or metal bits. We've been in the industry for a long time, so we’ve seen a lot of changes in how things are made. Our office is filled with little plastic molds and metal components sitting on every available surface. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working office where we manage the production and sales. Sometimes the elevator in the building takes forever, so we end up waiting around and talking to the other people who work in the block. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished image. We just know how to make parts that work and how to get them to the factories that need them. Dealing with raw materials like plastic and metal can be tricky with the prices changing all the time, but we just try to keep things steady. It’s a solid, old-school way of doing business. We show up, answer the emails, talk to the factory managers, and go home. That’s how it’s been for years, and we don't see any reason to change it now. We just do our work.
