Fab Tex Corporation

Fab Tex Corporation is based at No. 31 Beadon Row. If you know North Kolkata, you know Beadon Row has a lot of history. We’ve been working with textiles here for a long time. The building is old but it has a lot of character. We deal with all kinds of fabrics every day. Most of our time is spent checking rolls of cloth, talking to suppliers, and making sure everything is moving on time. It’s a dusty business sometimes, with bits of thread and fabric everywhere. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more of a functional space where we get the actual work done. People come in looking for specific textures or colors, and we do our best to find what they need in our stock. Being in this part of the city means we are surrounded by other businesses, which keeps us on our toes. The traffic on the road can be a headache, but we’ve learned to work around it. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know the trade inside out. We don’t use much marketing talk because the fabric speaks for itself. We just focus on getting the right material to the right people. It’s a steady job and we like the routine of it. Beadon Row is a good place for a textile business, and we’re glad to be a part of the neighborhood.
