Neoteric Infomatique Pvt Ltd is based at number 6, G C Avenue, in the Dharmatala area. This is an old part of the city and it is always very crowded. Ganesh Chandra Avenue has constant traffic and there are people everywhere. Our office is in an older building with high ceilings. It’s a bit dusty because of all the cars and buses outside, but it has a lot of character. We don't have a modern, polished office. We just have our desks and our equipment set up in a way that works for us. We are a small group and we don't follow any corporate rules. We just work together to get things finished. There is no fancy reception or big meeting room here. We usually just talk across our desks. Lunch often involves someone going down to the street to grab rolls or samosas for everyone. It’s a very busy place to be, and there is never a dull moment. We’ve stayed here because it’s easy for everyone to reach. We don’t have any prepared marketing talk. We just tell people where we are and what we do in plain English. Some days the heat is a bit much, but we have our fans and we just keep going. It’s a simple, hard-working environment and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood.
