We are located at 33A Chowringhee Road. It's the Chatterjee International Centre, specifically on the 20th floor at Suite No. 1. Working this high up in the city changes how you see things. Below us, the traffic never really stops and you can hear the horns even from the 20th floor sometimes. Nahorjan Tea Company Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this suite for a bit now. Most of our day is spent handling papers, talking to people from the gardens, and checking on the tea samples. It’s not a very fancy setup inside, just desks and boxes everywhere. Sometimes the elevators take forever because it’s a big building with lots of offices. We get people coming in and out all day long. Being right here in the middle of Kolkata makes sense for us because everything happens on Chowringhee. The windows get a bit dusty from the city air, but you get used to it. We aren't trying to do anything grand, just keeping the tea business moving along. It’s mostly just us trying to stay organized with all the different batches coming in. You can usually find someone here from early morning till late evening. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that, just our workspace where we get things done. It feels like a small world up here on the 20th floor despite being in such a large building. We just keep at it every day.
