M/S Dieu Plast

Our place is located at Plot No.17/1B/2 on Mall Road, over in the Dum Dum, Rajbari area. We work with plastics here, so there is always the smell of heat and materials in the air. The plot is a decent size, but once you put in the machines and the raw materials, it feels quite small. It’s a loud environment most of the time because the extruders and molders don't really stop once they get going. We have to shout a bit to hear each other over the hum. Mall Road can be quite busy, especially with the airport being in the general vicinity. We get a lot of trucks coming in to drop off pellets or pick up finished goods. The floor is usually covered in little bits of plastic trim that we have to sweep up at the end of every shift. It’s not a clean-room environment by any means, just a factory floor where things get made. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just the owners and the workers making sure the production schedule is met. The office is just a corner partitioned off with some glass, and it’s usually where we keep the samples and have our tea. We’ve been in the Rajbari area for quite some time now. People know us as the plastic guys on the plot near the turn. It’s just straightforward manufacturing and we stick to what we know best.
