Mrigakshi

Mrigakshi is situated at 168/f/1 Shibpur Road, right over in the Mandirtala area of Howrah. If you know the neighborhood, you know it gets quite crowded with all the rickshaws and people moving about. We’ve been here for some time now. The building is an older one, which has its own set of charms and problems, like the occasional leaky pipe when it rains too hard. We mainly focus on our daily work and trying to keep everything organized in a space that feels a bit tight sometimes. There’s usually a lot of noise from the street coming in through the windows, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle all sorts of things throughout the day, and it keeps us on our feet. It's a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One minute you're answering the phone and the next you might be moving some stock around. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It's just a regular shop where we do our business. People from around Mandirtala stop in and we chat for a bit while we work. It’s a very local feel. We try to keep things simple and just get through the to-do list each day. It’s not a flashy place, but it works for what we do. We just keep our heads down and handle the tasks as they come.
