Mintri Tea Co. Pvt. Ltd.

Our office is up on the third floor at 14/2, Old China Bazar Street. Mintri Tea Co. Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from here for quite a while now. The street downstairs is always crowded and noisy, but once you get up to the third floor, it calms down a bit. We spend our days surrounded by tea samples and ledgers. It’s an old building, so the elevator is a bit temperamental, but we usually just take the stairs anyway. We aren't a big, shiny corporation. We are just a group of people who know a lot about tea. Most of our time is spent talking to suppliers or checking on shipments. The floor is a bit creaky and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like a real workplace. We don’t have fancy marketing slogans. We just focus on the tea and making sure the business stays on track. Being in Old China Bazar Street means we are right in the heart of things, which we like. It’s a bit chaotic outside, but that’s just the character of the neighborhood. We’ve seen a lot of changes from our windows over the years, but we just keep doing our thing. It’s a steady life here at Mintri Tea. We have our small kitchen where we brew pots all day, mostly to test what we have, but also just because we like it. The smell of the different leaves is something you get used to after a while.
