Micromine

We are based out of a flat in Alipore, specifically 4A at 21B Belvedere Road. It’s a bit different from a typical glass-and-steel office building, which we actually quite like. It feels a bit more like a home. Micromine is what we do, and even though the setting is a bit more relaxed, the work is pretty serious. We deal with software for mining and exploration. It’s a lot of data, maps, and technical stuff that needs a lot of focus. Being in Alipore is nice because it’s a bit greener and quieter than the middle of the city. We have a small group here, and we usually just sit around the main table or at our desks working through the latest updates. Sometimes we have tea together and talk about what needs to be finished. It’s not a corporate grind here. We just try to provide good software to the people who need it for their mining projects. The building is older, but it has some character. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy receptionist. You just come up to the flat and we’re there working. It’s a low-key way of doing things, but we get a lot done. We’ve been in this Alipore spot for a while and it suits our style perfectly. It's just a regular group of people doing tech work.
