Medical Laboratory & Clinic

Over in New Alipur, our Medical Laboratory & Clinic is located in the 497 D Block M area. It’s a spot where we do a bit of everything, from taking blood samples to basic check-ups. The lab part of the office is filled with glass tubes, various machines, and the smell of rubbing alcohol. We spend a lot of time labeling things and making sure the records match up with the vials. The clinic side is pretty simple with a couple of examination tables and those rolls of crinkly paper that always make a noise when you sit on them. New Alipore is a busy neighborhood, so we get a lot of people coming in before they head to work in the morning. We try to be quick with the needles because nobody likes waiting around for that. The lighting in the back room is a bit dim, but we have those bright lamps for when we’re actually working. Our front desk is a bit small, and if more than three people are waiting, it starts to feel crowded. We have a calendar on the wall that someone forgot to flip to the current month, which happens more often than it should. It’s a functional place, not meant for lounging around. We just focus on getting the tests done and giving the results back to folks as soon as we can. It’s just a regular, working lab and clinic for the local community here.
