Mahabir Stores

Mahabir Stores has been a fixture on Santosh Roy Road for quite some time now. We are located at number 4, right in the heart of the Sakher Bazar area. If you know the neighborhood, you know how busy this stretch can get, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home and stopping for their daily needs. The shop is usually packed with all sorts of things on the shelves, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room, but we manage to find space for everything somehow. It is not a very big place, just a regular local store where people come to chat as much as they do to buy stuff. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and cars, and the smell of the market is just part of the air here. We spend a lot of our time just restocking the shelves and talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. There is no air conditioning or fancy displays, just the basic stuff people need every day. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, and we have to keep cleaning the floor, but that is just how it is. We open up early and stay late because that is when the bazar is most alive. It is a simple life behind the counter, keeping track of what is low and making sure the shop stays running for the folks around Sakher Bazar.
