Our office is at 23, Netaji Subhas Road. This is a very old and famous street, so there’s always a lot of history and a lot of people around. Macwel Infosystems Pvt. Ltd. operates out of a building that has seen many years. The rooms have high ceilings, and the windows look out onto the constant traffic below. It’s a busy place to work. We have computers set up on every desk, and cables running everywhere, which is typical for an infosystems company. Netaji Subhas Road is packed with shops and other offices, so lunchtime is usually a scramble to find a spot at the local stalls. We don’t have a big corporate lobby; you just walk in and come up to our floor. The office feels a bit cramped sometimes because we have a lot of equipment and spare parts lying around. We spend most of the day troubleshooting or working on various systems. It’s not the quietest place, as the sounds of the street always drift up. We’ve been here for a good while, and we know the other people in the building. It’s just a regular office where we put in our hours and try to keep everything running smoothly. There’s no fancy decor, just the tools we need to do our jobs every day. It's a bit messy, but it is just where we work. The landlord hasn't painted the walls in years, but the location is handy for getting around the city.
