Our place is at 229 Pallysree Pally in Kolkata. The zip code is 700060. It’s a typical Kolkata neighborhood where the lanes are a bit narrow and there is a lot of character in the buildings. We have been working out of this address for some time now. Linear Infotech Pvt Ltd is basically just a group of us in a few rooms. It gets quite humid here, especially in the middle of the year, so we have the fans going all day long. The street outside has a few small shops and people selling vegetables in the morning. We like being part of the local community. It isn't a high-rise office building. It’s more of a local spot where we can just be ourselves and work. We have a lot of old files and some computers that have seen better days but they still work fine. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just wait it out or talk amongst ourselves until it comes back on. That’s just life in this part of town. We don't have any big corporate signs. Most people who come here already know where we are. We start our day with some tea and get into the tasks. It’s a slow and steady process and we don’t rush things too much. It’s just a normal office in a normal Kolkata street, and we are quite happy with that arrangement.
