L. N. International

Working out of Plot No.28/4A/1 on New Ballygunge Road, L. N. International stays pretty busy in the Kasba area. It is a decent-sized space but it definitely feels a bit lived-in with all the paperwork and files we have stacked up on the desks. Working in international trade or whatever comes through the door means we are often on the phone or checking emails at odd hours because of the time differences. Kasba is a busy part of the city and the noise from the street outside sometimes leaks into the office, but you get used to it after a few days. We handle a lot of logistics and coordination which sounds more complicated than it actually is when you are doing it every day. It’s mostly just making sure things get from one point to another without getting stuck somewhere in between. The team is small and we’ve all been working together long enough that we don’t need to say much to get the job done. Sometimes the internet acts up or a shipment gets delayed, and then we just have to sit there and figure it out. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time staring at spreadsheets. We’ve been at this New Ballygunge Road spot for some time now and it suits us just fine for the kind of work we do. It's just a regular office life.
