Krishna

You have to head over to Bowbazar to find us, right there on Chittaranjan Avenue. Krishna is located in Jabakusum House, which is a pretty old building with a lot of character and some narrow stairs. We are up in Room 303. If you get lost, just look for the Indian Airlines office across the street, that’s usually the easiest way to find the place. It’s a small office, not much more than a couple of desks and some filing cabinets that have been there forever. There isn't any fancy carpet or bright lights here. We just go about our work every day while the noise from the street comes up through the windows. Bowbazar is always busy, so there’s a lot of honking and people shouting below, but we’re used to it by now. Most people who come to see us have been coming for years, or their fathers used to come here. It’s one of those places where the tea man knows exactly how much sugar you want before you even ask. We don't have a big sign outside, so you really have to be looking for number 34. It’s just a practical place for us to get things done. We don't spend much on decorating the room because we’re mostly busy with the paperwork and talking to people who drop by. It’s a bit dusty, but it’s home for the business.
