Our office is located at 9 Waterloo Street. It is one of those parts of Kolkata that feels like it has been there forever. We are KR Digital Refinery LLP. The refinery part of the name is just a way for us to say we work on digital stuff until it is finished and ready. We are not trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just have our small space here in the 700069 area. The rooms can feel a bit cramped when we have everyone in at the same time, but we make it work. Waterloo Street is always interesting to walk down in the morning because there is so much history around. There is usually a lot of noise and people moving about from the early hours. We have got a few computers and some desks that we have pushed together to save space. It is a simple life for us. We do the work, talk to people, and try to keep things running as smoothly as possible. No one here wears a suit unless they really have to for something special. It is a very casual vibe. We are just digital workers in an old part of the city. The building itself has its own quirks, like the elevator that sometimes has a mind of its own. But it is our spot and we like it. We have grown fond of the local tea stall nearby where we go for breaks.
