Nayan Optical

Our shop is over at No. 80/2 Surya Sen Road. It’s near the B. S. F Camp and Nagar Chowk area in New Mankapur. Finding us isn't too hard once you get to Alam Bazar. We’ve got a lot of glasses and frames tucked into the drawers and display units. It gets quite busy here because of the location. People are always passing by on their way somewhere else. We spend our days checking prescriptions and helping people find a pair of frames that don't slide down their nose. Sometimes we have to wait for the lens grinder to finish up, which takes time. We aren't a fancy boutique. The floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic, and the chairs in the waiting area have seen better days. But it’s a functional space. We know the people around here, and they know us. Most of our work is just routine stuff, like fixing hinges or cleaning lenses for someone who walked in off the street. The noise from Surya Sen Road is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We just keep the door open to let some air in when it’s hot. It’s just a local place where we do what we know how to do. Nayan Optical has been part of this corner for a while now and we like it here.
