Kk Tea Sellers

I’m usually at 21/1, Dayal Banerjee Road most days of the week. Kk Tea Sellers is just a small operation we run from this address. It’s an old building, and the street can get pretty cramped with rickshaws and people walking by. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people find us because they live nearby or have heard about us from a neighbor. The room where we keep the tea smells really strong, which I’ve grown to like over the years. My brother helps out with the lifting and the heavy bags. We spend a lot of time just weighing things out and talking to whoever drops by. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit. It’s a simple life. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. We just sell tea to people who need it. Dayal Banerjee Road is a good spot for us because it’s close to the main market. I usually walk to work since parking a bike is a nightmare around here. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We focus more on the tea than the decor. It's a bit messy sometimes with the burlap sacks, but we know where everything is kept. It is just the two of us mostly, and we manage just fine. We like it this way because it is uncomplicated and honest work for us.
