Khoday India Limited

We’ve been set up here at 107 Central Plaza for a good while now. Being on Sarat Bose Road means we are right in the middle of everything in Kolkata. Most days start early with the sounds of the street outside getting louder as people head to work. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or going through the mail. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a climb to our floor. The staff here has been together for years, so we all know how the other person likes their tea. It’s a busy atmosphere but we’re used to the pace. We handle all the Khoday India Limited business from these desks. It gets pretty humid in the summer, but the fans keep things moving. We usually order lunch from the small shop around the corner. It's just a regular day-to-day operation where we try to keep the paperwork straight and the shipments moving out on time. There is always someone coming in or going out with some document or another. It’s not a quiet place, but it feels right for what we do. We don't really have big meetings, we just talk across the desks when something needs fixing. It’s just us doing what needs doing to keep the wheels turning here in the city.
