If you are looking for us in Kolkata, we are located at the City Eye Care Centre on P.C. Sorcar Sarani, right along Ekdalia Road. Our clinic, Karuna Mayee, is a bit of a specialized spot. We mostly deal with prosthetic eyes and things like crutch spectacles for ptosis treatment. It’s a small, focused place. We aren't a big general hospital with hundreds of beds. Instead, we have a few rooms where we do the fittings and the consultations. The street outside is usually full of life, like most of Kolkata, but once you step inside, it is much quieter. We have been doing this for quite some time, helping people who have specific eye needs that you can’t just fix with a regular pair of glasses. The work we do is very detailed, so we spend a lot of time sitting at our benches or talking one-on-one with the people who come in. The staff is small, just a few of us who have learned these specific skills over the years. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge with a coffee machine; it is just a plain room with some chairs and some old magazines. People find us because they need something very specific, and we just do our best to provide it for them. It’s a practical business, and we take the work seriously without needing any of that corporate polish. We just stay here on Ekdalia Road and keep helping one person at a time, making sure their fit is exactly right.
