It’s one of those narrow lanes that Kolkata is famous for, and it can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking for it. We are tucked away in a spot that’s full of character and history. The work we do here is mostly focused on various projects that come through the door. Being so close to the police station makes it easy for people to find us once they get to the main road. The office is small and filled with the tools and materials we need for our daily tasks. It gets a bit humid and crowded, especially during the summer months, but we’re used to it. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. It’s just a regular Kolkata workspace where we spend our hours working on whatever needs doing. We usually step out to the local tea stalls for a break and to chat with the neighbors. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't try to pretend to be a giant company; we just focus on the work at hand in Taltalla Lane. The street life outside is always loud and interesting, which keeps things from being boring. It’s just us, doing our thing in our little corner of the city, and we've been here for a good while.
