Our place is at 43B Hazra Road in Ballygunge. It’s a very well-known part of Kolkata and it stays busy from morning until late at night. Kalyani Coffee And Tea Industries LLP has been part of this neighborhood's fabric for a bit. Being on Hazra Road means we are right in the middle of all the noise and the trams and the people. We handle both coffee and tea, which keeps us pretty occupied because they both need different kinds of attention. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space with old wooden desks and a lot of samples lying around. We don't believe in using big words to describe what we do. We just source the beans and the leaves and figure out where they need to go next. Most of us have lived in Kolkata our whole lives so we are used to the pace here. Sometimes the rains flood the streets a bit and we have to move things to higher ground, but we've seen it all before. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy slogan. We just talk to our customers and our suppliers like regular people. It’s an honest way to spend the day, surrounded by the smell of roasted coffee and dried tea leaves while the city carries on outside our door. We’ve been at this for years and don't plan on changing much.
