Kaldi Kraft Coffee Private Limited shares the same spot in Tirupati Plaza on AJC Bose Road. We are up on the 5th floor in Room 5A and 5B. It is a very central location in Kolkata, so getting here is easy but the traffic is a headache. We spend most of our time dealing with coffee shipments. Our office is full of paperwork and sample jars. It is not the most stylish place you will ever see. We have stacks of boxes in the corners and the desks are usually covered in notes. We do all the work ourselves without any big department heads or managers. It feels more like a small workshop than a formal office. We pick through the beans and talk about the different flavors we are getting. Sometimes we disagree on things, but that is just part of working closely together. The light in the room is a bit dim in the afternoons, so we have a few extra lamps. We keep things simple and honest here. There are no corporate retreats or big speeches. We just want to make sure the bags are packed correctly and the orders go out on time. The building is old and has a lot of character. We have grown used to the hum of the city life outside. It is just our little corner where we get things done.
