Kadma Tea Private Limited

We run Kadma Tea Private Limited from an office in the Diamond Heritage building on Strand Road. We are up in Room 703A. Being on Strand Road means we are right near the river and the old heart of Kolkata's trade. It’s a busy building with a lot of people coming in and out. We deal with tea, which is a big part of life here. Most of our work is talking to gardens and buyers. We aren't out in the fields ourselves, but we handle the business side of things from this room. The office is usually full of samples and paperwork. We taste a lot of tea to make sure it’s what we want. It’s not a fancy tasting room like you see in movies, just some cups on a desk. We’ve been doing this for a while and know the different seasons for tea well. Some days it’s very quiet and we just catch up on letters, other days the phone won’t stop ringing. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just buy and sell tea. It’s a straightforward business. The traffic on Strand Road is always a mess, so we try to get in early before the trucks take over. It’s a good spot for us because we are close to everything we need. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
