Capital Law House

Our shop is right on K. S. Ray Road, which is basically where all the legal action happens because the High Court is just a stone's throw away. Being at 8/2 means we see a lot of lawyers and clerks rushing back and forth all day. Capital Law House has been around for a long time, and the shelves are packed with law books, some new and some that look like they’ve seen many years of use. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible. You’ll see piles of journals and legal commentaries stacked up near the counter. The street outside is always noisy with cars and people, but inside it smells like old paper and ink. We spend our time helping people find specific acts or the latest updates in the law. It’s a lot of searching through indexes and grabbing heavy books from the top shelves. We don't have a big fancy storefront, just a door that stays open most of the day. People come in looking for something specific for a case, and we do our best to find it in the stacks. It’s a busy atmosphere but we like being part of the legal community here. Every day is a bit different depending on which court cases are going on. We just keep the books organized and the lights on.
