Islamic Book World

The shop is located at 17B Shamsul Huda Road. It is a pretty quiet street compared to some of the others in the city, which is nice for a bookstore. We have been here for quite a while, and the neighborhood has changed around us, but we stayed the same. Inside, it is mostly just shelves and shelves of books. We try to keep things in order, but when new shipments come in, the boxes tend to sit in the aisles for a day or two. It is a small family-run type of place. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights. Just the books and some old fans to keep the air moving. People come here when they want to find something specific that the big shops do not carry. We spend our days talking to customers, recommending titles, or just listening to their stories. It is a slow-paced kind of life. We do not do much in terms of advertising or social media. Most people know we are here just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit messy, but that does not stop people from coming in. We open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. It is a simple way to make a living. We are not looking to expand or become a big chain. We just like being here on Shamsul Huda Road and serving the people who come through.
