We've been at 10/1 Canal East Road for a while now. K L Patel And Sons isn't a big fancy place, just a local spot where we handle our daily work. My father started things, and now we just keep it going. The road gets busy outside, especially with the trucks and traffic, but inside it's just us doing what we know. People stop by when they need something, and we try to get things done. It's not a complicated setup. We have some storage space and a small desk where the paperwork gets piled up. Sometimes the phone rings all morning, other times it's quiet enough to actually hear the tea boiling. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We mostly just deal with the regulars who have been coming around for years. Usually, one of the sons is around to unlock the gate early. If you find yourself on Canal East Road, you'll see our building. It's got some history to it, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We don’t really do much online stuff, just face to face. It’s better that way anyway because you know who you are talking to. We just take it one day at a time here. It's just a regular life.
