Jessore

We have been at 135 Jessore Road for quite some time now. Kolkata is a busy place, and this stretch near Bangur Avenue always has something going on. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where we do our work every day. People walk by all the time, heading to the market or catching a bus. We see the same faces every morning. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but that is just how things are around here. We opened up because we wanted to have a space in this part of the city. Being near the avenue makes it easy for folks to find us if they are looking. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling things and making sure everything stays organized. There isn't much to say about the decor because it’s practical. We keep the doors open and try to stay on top of the daily tasks. If you are walking down Jessore Road, you will probably see our sign. It has been a long journey from when we first started at this address. We just focus on getting the day started and seeing it through. It is a simple setup with a few desks and some chairs for people who stop in. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but we are still right here at the same spot. Even when it rains during the monsoon and the street floods a little, we keep the shop open.
