We are situated on the second floor of 23C Asutosh Choudhury Avenue in Kolkata. It’s a busy part of the city, and you can always hear the horns and the general hum of the street from up here. The office is usually a bit of a mess with paperwork, shipping documents, and samples from different places. We spend most of our time on the phone or responding to messages about various goods coming in or going out. It’s a lot of logistics and checking on containers, which can be stressful when things are delayed at the port. The heat in Kolkata can be pretty intense, so we usually have the windows shut and the old air conditioner humming loudly in the background. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters; it’s a working office where the desks are covered in files and the tea cups are never far away. We’ve been at this address for a while now, navigating the complexities of importing and exporting from this second-floor space. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs. We aren't interested in sounding bigger than we are. We are just a small team in Kolkata handling the trade business as best as we can. Every day brings a new set of documents to clear and new shipments to track across the avenue and beyond.
