J. B. L. Impex

We are located at 541/A Ravindra Sarani, right on the ground floor of Laxmi Apartment. J. B. L. Impex is a small operation. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to drop in and for us to move boxes around. Ravindra Sarani is a loud, busy part of town, so there is never a dull moment. We can hear the traffic and the neighbors all day long. The apartment isn't huge, so we have to be organized with how we store things. It’s basically just a couple of rooms converted into a workspace. We have a small table where we have our tea and talk about what needs to get done for the day. Most of our work involves importing and exporting, so we are always checking the clock and waiting for deliveries. It gets pretty dusty with the street so close, so we spend a lot of time cleaning off the desks. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles. We just do the work that comes in. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking, and other days we don't even have time to eat. We’ve got a good relationship with the other people living in Laxmi Apartment. They don't mind the noise too much. It's a humble setup, but it’s ours. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders out on time. That is the daily grind for us here.
