Islam Stores

You can find Islam Stores right there in Sasati Bazar along Shyampur Road. It’s one of those spots in Howrah where there is always noise and movement. We’ve had the shop here for a while, and it’s become part of our daily life. We sell all sorts of things, mostly the basic stuff people need for their daily routines. The shelves are packed pretty tight, so you have to look around a bit to find what you want. We don’t have those fancy scanners or anything; we just know where everything is kept. The morning time is usually the busiest because of the bazar crowds. By the afternoon, things slow down a little bit, and we can take a break or reorganize the back room. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting crates and moving bags around. We don't bother with big slogans or trying to sound like a big company. We’re just a small shop in a busy part of town. Sometimes the electricity goes out, and we have to use flashlights, but people still come in anyway to see if we have what they need. It feels good to be part of the community here in Shyampur. We know the other shopkeepers, and we all help each other out when needed. It’s a simple business, nothing too complicated. We just try to have what people are looking for when they walk through the door on their way home. It is a long day, but we are used to it.
