We are directly opposite Khanna High School, so it’s pretty easy to find once you get to the right street. The area is usually full of students and parents, especially in the mornings and afternoons. It’s a bit of a tight spot with the studio equipment and all the desks, but we manage just fine. Working in a photo lab environment means there’s always something interesting to look at. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen many people pass through those doors. The building itself is typical for this part of Kolkata, nothing too modern but it has character. We don’t go for anything fancy in terms of office decor. We just have what we need to get the work done. The sound of the main road is always there in the background. It feels like a very human place to work, surrounded by cameras and computers. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to stay on top of everything. It’s a simple setup and we like the neighborhood feel of Shibtala Lane. People stop by to chat or ask questions, and we just keep the business running as usual. It works for us.
