Indias Tea

You can find our office at 1, Ground Floor of the Martinburn Building. It is located on Rn Mukherjee Road, which is a pretty well-known street. We are directly opposite the Lal Bazar Head Quarter, so the police station is right there across from us. Being in the Martinburn Building is interesting because it is an older place with a lot of character. The walls are thick and the ceilings are high, which keeps it a bit cooler in the summer. We chose the ground floor because it is easy for people to just walk in without having to deal with elevators or too many stairs. Indias Tea is a fairly small operation. We do not have any polished corporate brochures or big slogans. We just have our desks and our tea samples spread out. The area around Lal Bazar is always humming with noise. There are cars honking and people shouting all day. It can be a bit much sometimes, but we are used to it by now. We spend our hours doing the usual stuff, like answering the phone and checking the ledgers. We do not try to act like a big company because we are not. We are just a local business on Rn Mukherjee Road trying to do a decent job. Most of our furniture is a bit worn out, but it is comfortable enough for us. We just focus on the tea and getting through the daily list of things that need to be done.
