Indian Mining Works Pvt. Ltd. is based on the 3rd floor of the Fmc Fortuna building, Unit A-7. That’s at 234/3A, A.J.C. Bose Road. Even though we are in a big office building in a busy part of the city, the work we do is very much on the ground. Mining is a tough industry. We spend a lot of time on logistics and making sure things are running correctly at the sites. The office is where the paperwork happens. We have a lot of maps and charts on the walls. It’s not a fancy corporate suite with gold-plated everything. It’s a workspace for people who understand the industry. We’ve been in this business for quite a while now. A.J.C. Bose Road is always humming with activity, and our office is the same way. We deal with a lot of regulations and safety stuff, which is a big part of the job. There are meetings that go on for hours and plenty of coffee being drank. We aren't here to make big promises. We just try to run our operations as efficiently as we can. It’s a complex business with a lot of moving parts. Sometimes things go wrong at a site and everyone is on the phone all night. That’s just the nature of mining. We are just a group of people doing our jobs and going home.
