Hindalco Industries

Our small office is situated in the Gill Apartment building on K B Sarani, right in the 700080 area of Kolkata. We are on the second floor, in flat 2A. It is a typical Kolkata neighborhood where the streets are always full of life and there is a lot of noise from the traffic and the vendors outside. We have been working from this spot for quite some time now under the Hindalco Industries name. It is a lived-in space, not one of those modern glass buildings with shiny elevators. You can hear the tea stalls downstairs and the general hum of the city all day long. We keep our files organized and try to stay on top of the logistics that come through this branch. It’s a lot of sitting at the desks, answering the phone, and dealing with whatever paperwork comes our way. Sometimes the monsoon rains make getting to the office a bit of a challenge with the flooded streets, but we always manage to open up on time. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, it’s just one of us grabbing the door when someone knocks or a delivery arrives. It’s a straightforward way to run things. We like being in this part of the city because it feels real and grounded. Most of our day is spent making sure the local operations don't run into any hiccups or delays. We are just regular people doing our part.
