We’ve been at 37 Shakespere Sarani for a good while now. Kolkata 17 is a busy part of town, so there's always plenty of noise outside our windows. This office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the daily work done. Most days involve looking at screens or handling paperwork for various systems. Some of the desks have been here as long as I have. We mostly deal with the technical side of things, making sure stuff keeps running. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and staying on top of the inventory. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but you get used to it after the first hour. People stop by when they need something sorted out. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. It's more about sitting down and getting through the pile of tasks on the desk. Coffee runs are pretty common because it gets quite humid around here in the afternoons. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the cables get a bit tangled under the desks. It’s just us here, doing our bit. Shakespeare Sarani has a certain rhythm to it, and we've become part of that over the years. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the systems up so people can do their jobs. It's practical work. No flash, just the usual routine that keeps a place like this going. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells tea at the corner. It's a decent place to work.
