Hanu Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is up on the 8th floor of the Diamond Chamber building at 4 Chowringhee Road. Being in a high-rise in a city like this means we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevator, but once you get up here, it’s a good place to work. We deal with polymers, which is a lot of technical stuff and coordination with the factories in the Dist- area. The office isn't anything special; it’s mostly just desks, computers, and samples of different materials we handle. From the window, you can see a bit of the city, which is nice when things get stressful. We aren't a giant corporation; we’re a smaller team that knows the polymer market pretty well. A lot of our day is spent on the phone or emailing back and forth with suppliers. Sometimes the paperwork gets piled high on the desks, and we have to spend a Saturday clearing it all out just to see the surface again. We don't have a fancy lobby or a bunch of slogans on the walls. We just focus on the trade and making sure our clients get their materials on time. The building is a bit old, and the hallways can be dim, but it’s been our home for a long time. We like being in this part of the city because it’s central for everyone. It’s just a regular office where we do our best to keep the business running.
