We are located at R/Ab/20/1 on VIP Road in the Teghoria area. If you're looking for us, we are right behind the Heritage Hotel. VIP Road is always packed with cars and buses, so it’s actually a bit of a relief to step inside the gym. It’s not a massive facility, but we’ve packed in enough equipment to make sure nobody is waiting too long for a turn. We keep the weights organized as much as we can, though by the end of the night, things usually end up a bit messy. The floor is covered in thick rubber mats to help with the noise when people drop the heavy dumbbells. We have a few fans positioned around the room to keep the air moving, which is necessary during the summer months in Kolkata. It’s a straightforward place. We don't have trainers in suits or anything like that. It’s just us and the regulars. Most of the people who come here are from the apartments nearby in Teghoria. We spend our mornings checking the bolts on the machines and making sure the music system is working. There’s a small area to change clothes, but it’s basic. If you want a place that’s easy to get to from the main road and has the basic gear you need, that’s what we are. No more, no less.
