Gurukul

We have been based here on Main Road in Burrabazar for quite a few years now. If you have ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know exactly how busy it gets. It is a constant rush of people and carts. We are located near Chittaranjan Avenue, which is one of the main veins of the city. Our space is not anything fancy or modern. It is just a practical place where we come every day to get our work done. The building is older and the hallways are a bit narrow, but it serves its purpose. We don’t really have a big sign outside or anything like that. Most of the people who come here are folks who have lived in the neighborhood for a long time. They know where to find us. We sit here and watch the traffic go by while we handle our daily tasks. It can get pretty loud with the honking and the shouting from the market, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just try to keep things organized as best as we can. There is no big philosophy behind what we do. We just open up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and close up when the sun goes down. Sometimes the fan makes a weird clicking sound, but it still moves the air around. We are just regular people working in a busy city.
