Grofers India Private Limited

This place is tucked away in Arupota, right near the Dhapa area. If you’ve ever been out toward Tiljala, you know the roads can be a bit tricky with all the turns. This is where Grofers India Private Limited operates from in this part of South 24 Parganas. It’s a busy warehouse environment, mostly. There are always crates moving around and people checking lists. It gets quite humid in the afternoons, and the fans don't always do much to help. We are located near the Post- Dhapa side, so there is a lot of local traffic, mostly delivery vans and workers going back and forth. It isn't some shiny corporate building; it’s more about the practical side of getting things sorted and sent out. The floor is usually covered in some kind of packing material or tape. We don’t really do fancy meetings here. It’s mostly just shouting across the floor to see where a certain pallet went. Working in Tiljala means dealing with the dust and the noise of the city outskirts. We just focus on the task at hand. Every day feels pretty much the same, just a lot of moving parts and making sure the inventory matches what we have. It’s a lot of physical work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready to head home. We shut the big doors and do it all again the next morning.
