Grocers Home

You can find Grocers Home up on the first floor of the Down Town Mall. We are right in the middle of New Town, specifically in the Raja Hat area near Uniworld City. It is a pretty modern area compared to some other parts of the city. Being in the mall is nice because the air conditioning actually works, which is a big deal during the summer months. We spend a lot of our time making sure the shelves don't look too empty, though it feels like a constant battle sometimes. A lot of people from the nearby apartments in Uniworld City come in after work to grab what they need. It is a clean space, but we still have our moments of chaos when a big delivery arrives and there are boxes everywhere in the aisles. We aren't some giant chain store; we are just trying to run a decent place for the people living around Raja Hat. Sometimes the mall is really quiet on Tuesday mornings, and we just walk around or rearrange the displays for the tenth time. Other times, it is so packed you can barely move. We don't have a big mission statement or anything, we just try to keep the lights on and the stocks full. It is a good spot to be in, even if the mall music gets a bit repetitive after eight hours.
