You can find Gourmet Infotech Services Private Limited on the second floor of 7A, Rupchand Mukherjee Lane. It’s a bit of an older part of Kolkata, which has its own charm. The lane is narrow, so it’s better to walk than try to drive a big car down here. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It’s an infotech company, so we deal with all sorts of digital services. Despite the name "Gourmet," we don't actually cook food, though we do eat plenty of snacks while we work. The team is a mix of ages, some who have been in tech for years and some who are just starting. We share the space and keep things pretty casual. There’s no dress code or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-conversation about a project or trying to figure out why a piece of code isn't working right. We don't have a big marketing budget or a sales team. Most of the people who work with us found us through someone they know. We like it that way because it keeps things personal. We know the shopkeepers on the lane and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. It’s a busy, lived-in place, and our office fits right in with the rest of the street. It’s not perfect, the building is old, but it works for us and we like being here.
